Louise is a primary school teacher by training. She developed her passion for inclusion early on in her career and has worked in various different capacities in special educational needs since 2001. Most recently, she worked as a specialist advisory teacher in Hertfordshire Local Authority. Louise now works freelance as a dyslexia specialist consultant for schools and provides neurodiversity training for employees. Louise is also qualified as a dyslexia assessor.
Louise’s first book, Morph Mastery, a Morphological Intervention for Reading and Spelling, was published by Speechmark (Routledge) in 2021, and she is currently writing her next two books for the same publisher, called All About Dyslexia.
Louise’s interest is in enabling and equipping individuals and organisations to remove barriers to success and harness the potential in everyone. She lives in Hitchin, Herts with her husband, son and pet rabbit.
