Driven by a deep passion for mental health and wellbeing, I am dedicated to fostering mental health awareness and breaking stigma.
Over the last 30 years I have carried out a wide variety of roles including: Teacher, Educator, Trainer, Assessor, Internal Verifier, Counsellor, and Interpreter. For more than 20 years I worked in education with adults and young people from diverse backgrounds. My determination to support and empower individuals led to a career in therapeutic integrative counselling to support mental health to enable individual to thrive and progress in their career.
Experienced in working with adults with a trauma informed approach, addressing issues such as anxiety and depression using CBT and mindfulness techniques, I empower individuals to prioritise their wellbeing by promoting a holistic approach to mental health care.
My commitment to creating environments where people feel seen and heard, and most importantly, where they are supported on their journey towards healing, is unwavering.
An experienced Bilingual Interpreter, highly skilled at communicating in Bengali/Sylheti, as well as English.

Trauma Informed Practice – Level 5
Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling – Level 4 (CPCAB)
