Train the Trainer: Equality, Diversity and Inclusion

In this ‘Train the Trainer’ course you will learn how to plan, design, deliver and evaluate Equality, Diversity and Inclusion training at all levels in a safe and constructive learning environment.

Learning Outcomes  

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • describe different pedagogical approaches and your rationale for the pedagogical practices you use
  • recognise different learning styles and apply strategies meet the needs of individuals who attend your training
  • identify your own biases and how they may impact people who attend your training
  • plan, design and deliver an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion training session
  • utilise resources to support individual learning needs
  • confidently discuss entrenched views, challenge unacceptable behaviour, and manage conflict
  • evaluate the effectiveness of your design and delivery methods and make plans to enhance future training sessions
